New Regalica Bridge

Civil

Budimex SA and the State Water Holding Polish Waters Regional Water Management Board in Szczecin signed a contract in September 2021 for the reconstruction of a railway bridge over the Regalica River in Szczecin. The proposed bridge is set to increase the capacity of the railway line No. 273 and expand the capacity for inland navigation.

Budimex is set to complete the PLN 282 million project in 25 months. This project is financed by the World Bank, the European Union and the national budget.

The aim of the investment is to adjust the existing railway bridge to the minimum clearance, ensuring the effectiveness of ice-breaking actions. The bridge in its existing condition does not meet the requirements, hinders and often suspends the icebreaking action. The scope of the project includes partial demolition of the existing bridge over the railway line and construction of a new bridge. The new bridge will be built in the vicinity of the existing one. The planned structure will be elevated about 6.2 m above the level of high navigable water. All that will be left of the old structure is the drawbridge span, which is listed in the register of historical monuments.

The works will be carried out as part of the governmental Flood Protection Project in the Oder and Vistula Basin.

It will increase flood protection in the capital of Western Pomerania and will ensure more efficient navigation and the possibility of more effective work of icebreakers. The works will increase the clearance of the bridge, the structure of which will be raised about 6.2 m above the waterline.

Evercam construction cameras are being used on this site to monitor the progress of the project.

Mod 21 New Production Hall

Fit Out
Industrial

As part of the new business area of the ERBUD Group, developed under the MOD21 brand, the Group plans to build large structures made of modular wooden buildings - hotels, office buildings, dormitories, hospitals, and public utility buildings.

The modules used for the construction of the facilities will be implemented at the plant in Ostaszewo. In addition, the Group intends to reach full production capacity in 2026 and will then produce approximately 100,000sm of the total module area per year.

According to the assumptions of the project, in 2026 the new business segment of the Group is to generate approximately PLN 650 million in revenues, with the profitability of 5-8%. In June this year, the investor acceptance of the production hall in Ostaszewo took place. The plant with an area of 22,000sm is to meet high ecological standards, and ultimately be energy-neutral and zero-emission.

Swipe left and right to view the construction progress from August 2022 to December 2022 as displayed by the 1st Camera.

The project has two cameras on site which enable the project teams to follow the progress of the fit-out in the new warehouse and the installation of the new prefabrication line for modular wood core buildings.

This facilitates communications between the teams in the office and those at the job site. Moreover, Investors are also easily updated with clear presentations using the time-lapse videos created by Evercam’s video team.
