Why use a time-lapse camera for this project?

Construction cameras were installed at key vantage points around the site to continuously monitor the progress of the building work. This was essential to stringent oversight and ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety regulations. The cameras were used for:

Trailer One New Building

Trailer One, Inc., a semi-trailer sales, leasing and rental business specialised in Dry Vans, Flatbeds, Drop Decks, Reefers, and Specialty Trailers had its new location constructed in Medina, Ohio. Trailer One, Inc broke ground in the spring of 2022. The move to have a new and larger location was to accommodate inventory demands for its growing customer base.

This job site had 2 construction cameras installed on site which facilitated efficient communication amongst project team members. Even though the goal of the company was to have security cameras, the construction cameras which have been integrated with Procore added up to provide seamless project management. They were able to easily check the progress of the project against the plan of work.

The team also used our Snapmail feature to send images weekly to their sales team to then share with customers or providers to update them on the project. The availability of construction cameras on site greatly reduced the number of trips for site visits as was the case before.

Trailer One, Medina, Ohio

Throughout the construction process, the bank would have had to send an inspector on site to approve payment to contractors. The ability to share the live stream with others gave us the ability to share with the bank inspector to avoid travel & inspection charges to the loan.  We were able to share with engineers, excavators and builders to confirm deliveries of materials and confirm the daily activity of the workers on site. “ Brad Thomas - General Manager- Trailer One

A much-anticipated renovation of the Civic Center Library in Oceanside, CA is on the horizon. The project is moving forward quickly and the demolition phase is now complete. Mere hours after the Oceanside Library’s $33.5 million bond passed by 54 per cent of the mail-in vote, administrators began brainstorming with architects and construction experts on how to proceed with the many projects that will be covered.

This project consists of the new 48,000 SF new Oceanside Library. Since the Library is located in a developed suburban region, maintaining parking and outdoor space is essential. By demolishing an existing one-story section of the building and creating a lower level, first floor, and second floor to match the existing levels of the structure's remaining half, extra square footage was added.

The goal is to upgrade the library to a ‘smart library’. Sought-after spaces such as meeting rooms and soft seating areas are provided in a variety of sizes and configurations to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for all users. Spaces for adults, teens, and children are strategically located for ease of access, security, and sound control.

With one construction camera installed on site, there is the ease of communication with different stakeholders of the project. This camera is integrated with Procore which provides a centralised platform for accessing and reviewing progress on the project, the Procore integration provided on Evercam construction camera help improve communication and collaboration between stakeholders and ensures that all stakeholders are aware of the status of the project and any issues that may arise.

Northern Light Acadia Hospital has successfully completed a major project with Advanced Construction Monitoring, adding 100 new private patient rooms. This project involved two significant additions: one focused on inpatient treatment for children and teens, and another expanding the Pediatric Day Treatment Program. Consigli Construction Co., Inc. led the effort in collaboration with Lavallee Brensinger Architects, whose expertise was crucial in managing complex logistics, ensuring smooth hospital operations, and maintaining safety throughout construction.

Modern Facilities for Comprehensive Care

As part of the "Acadia For All" campaign, the hospital expanded its pediatric wing with 50 new inpatient rooms, therapy areas, and classrooms, providing comprehensive behavioural health services for children and teens across Maine.

The team also upgraded the adult inpatient facilities to four units. Each unit offers private rooms and bathrooms, sensory rooms, family visiting areas, and therapeutic gardens. The Mood & Memory Outpatient Clinic has been relocated to a larger, more accessible space within the hospital. This move aims to serve elderly patients better.

Efficient Operations: Centralized Support Services

The project aimed to centralise many support services to increase efficiency and shorten staff walking distances. Key improvements include a larger loading dock, centralized housekeeping, a covered ambulance entrance, and a conveniently located pharmacy. The facility also features a dedicated entrance. It has a better connection to an outdoor activity park. This creates a supportive environment for young patients and families

MCN Build is building the remarkable  Sparrows Point Park and Recreation Center in Edgemere, Maryland. This project includes a 16,000 SF community centre, a synthetic turf field, walking paths, a dock, a playground, parking areas, stormwater facilities and essential utilities.

The site,  formerly a shipyard, required extensive soil remediation before construction could begin. Crews have removed two feet of contaminated topsoil. This highlights the challenges and the importance of revitalizing this area for the community.

MCN Build’s Strategy for Staying on Schedule?
