Northumberland Line – Newsham Station

Supporting Civil Infrastructure Delivery in Northumberland

As part of the wider Northumberland Line project, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure carried out construction works at the site of the new Newsham Station in Blyth. This civil infrastructure project plays a key role in re-establishing passenger rail services in the region, improving transport connectivity, and supporting local economic growth.To support visibility on-site, Evercam deployed live construction cameras, which provided live views of the construction site and continuous recording throughout the 14-month project duration, enabling Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s team to maintain transparency and improve coordination.The Evercam platform was leveraged internally to support stakeholder updates, incident reviews, and document the project progress. A final construction time-lapse video was also produced to visually capture the construction journey.

Evercam is used to:

• Enable live visibility across the construction site
• Document work phases and construction milestones
• Support HSE and incident review where required
• Create a visual archive for post-project evaluation
