Chesterfield Waterside

Chesterfield Waterside is a comprehensive, £340 million regeneration scheme within Chesterfield, adjacent to its town center. The scheme covers an area of 16 hectares and when complete will provide a new, sustainable, high quality, mixed-use development.

The scheme is a joint venture between the local council, Chesterfield Borough Council, and is being delivered by local developer, Bolsterstone Group PLC who have a proven track record in delivering complex development projects and specialize in delivering regeneration projects in regional towns and cities.

The first phase of the commercial aspect of the scheme is ‘Basin Square’ which will see the delivery of an office block, hotel, multi-story car park, and apartments. The office block forms the first building on this phase and is being delivered by Bolsterstone Group PLC for Chesterfield Borough Council on a forward funding basis. When complete it will provide circa 36,000 sq ft of much-needed Grade A office accommodation.

Elsewhere on the site, Avant Homes are currently delivering 173 private dwellings within the ‘Waterside Quarter’ character area. Completion of the first units is expected in early 2021.

Evercam has installed its camera to record and monitor the complete construction progress from the very beginning.
